Digital Strategist is a full-time client-facing representative for clients subscribing to monthly digital marketing strategy services. The ideal candidate has a passion for marketing with an emphasis on digital platforms, technologies, and strategies—with the ability to demonstrate enthusiasm to clients. They lead monthly strategy meetings designed to transparently inform clients on performance for current and past efforts while working to plan and coordinate upcoming solutions needed to improve clients’ online visibility. They are the main point of contact for select clients, and their websites maintained by Speedsquare. This individual will establish themselves as a credible authority in the industry to build and maintain client relationships. Their duties include interacting with new and existing clients regularly. Additionally, this candidate should have the ability to learn new technologies and communicate those concepts to customers with varying degrees of technical expertise. This role reports to the Head of Strategy.
- Reputation Rockstar: Take charge of clients' online reviews, crafting responses that applaud or address sentiment and maintaining stellar brand reputations.
- Listing Agent: Establish and manage clients’ NAP data via our best-in-class directory listing service.
- SEO Extraordinaire: Write compelling, optimized content that impacts search engines (and readers) fall in love with our clients, plus routine site audits for website continuity and ensured visibility.
- Ad Alchemist: Manage digital advertising campaigns on multiple platforms like Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, etc. to deliver scroll-stopping results and maximize ROAS.
- Client Whisperer: Build strong relationships with clients, communicating strategies and results in clear, relatable terms that leave them feeling confident and informed.
- Technical Taskmaster: Ensure performance-based capabilities of client website by implementing and aggregating important analytics and audience-building tools like Google Analytics and Social pixels within Google Tag Manager.
- Social Superhero: Keep our agency access to client pages on-point in Business Manager and assist in client troubleshooting.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar marketing role preferred
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related field
- Experience working with clients (or in-house) and creating value through customer experience
- Exceptional ability to communicate and foster positive internal and client relationships
- Accountability and personal organization are essential
- Ability to establish milestones and stay on task
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Search Console
- Understanding of client concerns and thoughts regarding the use of services, and the ability to troubleshoot as needed alongside technical or team support
- Firm understanding of and the ability to communicate digital marketing services and benefits
- Attention to detail to ensure clients receive the correct advice and support
- Working knowledge of WordPress or WYSWYG website builders
- Experience with creating Google PPC Campaigns and social media ad campaigns
- Computer skills and proficiency with G-suite apps
- Working knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, etc.)
- Manage interactions with select client roster and via virtual meetings, phone conversations, and possibly in-person meetings
- Preparing client analytics and campaign performance reports
- Monitors and improves digital advertising campaigns via Google Ads and Social Media ad platforms
- Monitors client reputation via Birdeye notifications and responds to online reviews
- Executes minor website edits
- Maintains up-to-date tracking for various components and advertising agreement statuses
- Addressing client questions and solving issues
- Coordinates with internal teams for supplemental services like graphic design
- Develops project timelines and communicates effectively between client and internal teams to achieve goals by the deadline
- Provides regular status reports for projects and keeps the team up-to-date on needs and deadlines
- Reviews, proofs, and edits all client-facing communication and content to ensure quality
- Posting to client social media accounts as needed
- Conduct weekly site audits to ensure a client's website is staying streamlined, visible, and navigable
